Corporate Holiday Cards

Sending corporate holiday cards is an excellent way to stay in touch with clients and to show gratitude for your business relationships. Below are some tips for sending corporate holiday cards to your clients.

Include a personal note.
Your card should include personalized note expressing gratitude for the client’s business or relationship. It doesn’t have to be long; just a sentence or 2 should be adequate.

Branding your card is a good idea.
Your holiday card will remind the client of your business. Your card can include your business’ name and URL in the signature or on the envelope. Using your logo and/or company colors on the card is also a nice touch.

Be empathetic.
Not everyone celebrates Christmas. Rather than stating “Merry Christmas,” your corporate holiday card should say “Happy Holidays” or “Season’s Greetings.” This will ensure that your card doesn’t unintentionally offend anyone.

Hand-sign your cards.
Many companies have cards made with a printed signature in the inside. If your card is like this, you should still sign it personally.

Hand-address the envelope.
Don’t use a pre-printed label for the address. Always hand-address the envelope. This adds a touch of personalization that your clients will appreciate.

Use the right type of postage

Use appropriate holiday postage stamps on the envelope.  Don’t use your postal meter; it looks way too impersonal.

A corporate holiday card is an effective marketing strategy. Your clients will appreciate your taking the time to think of them during the busy holiday season.
